This group's mission was to develop a comprehensive plan for a cost-effective, efficient road system to service projected needs into the year 2020. The Goal of their report was to improve the health, safety, convenience, and welfare of the citizens of Hendricks County by planning for future development so that the highway systems are adequate; that the needs of agriculture, industry, and business are recognized in future thoroughfare growth; and that the implementation of the transportation system is mindful of the efficient and economical use of public funds. |

A preliminary report about infrastructure in Hendricks County was developed regarding travel on US 36 between Avon and Interstate 465. Ronald Reagan Parkway discussion was underway already so this group expanded on ideas for this. They did research on different roadways and decided as citizens we need to be proactive for some sort of north-south corridor. |

The Express Bus project is a federally funded opportunity to expand transit links between outlying rural populations connecting them to a daily rapid transit opportunity to and from Indianapolis. This new project would connect Hendricks County to Indianapolis. |
