Leadership Hendricks County recently launched a new website. Not only did they change their web address from lhcinc.org to leadershiphendrickscounty.org to make it easier for the community to find them, they also took advantage of the address change to redesign their site. The new website has added content, easier navigation, and a new section that allows LHC alumni to log in to access “members only” content, such as a new online book lending library. Class projects are now also available for public online viewing. Notable class projects are the “They’re Our Kids” website, Hendricks County Farm Tour, and the Hendricks County Parks 5K Race.
Since 1993, Leadership Hendricks County has given citizens the background and inside information they need to take on effective leadership roles in the Hendricks County community. Each graduating class within the program has completed a Team Discovery project to address a current community need. Leadership Hendricks County, Inc., a program of the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to seek, prepare, involve and sustain leaders from diverse backgrounds to address community and countywide changes. For information, call 317-745-6694 or visit www.leadershiphendrickscounty.org.
